Things you can do to boost your phone signals
Today you will learn all the possible ways of increasing the strength of your phone signals.
While staring at your phone screen while waiting to send a message or come to the website to finish loading, it is not only time consuming, but also annoying.
This only adds to the frustration when you know that you are in an area that has a strong cellular signal. There are many factors that go into wireless networks, and eventually, problems sometimes arise. Put more simply: your issues may be the fault of your carrier, not yours.
The tried and true fix turns on Airplane mode in a few seconds of waiting and then turns it off. But this doesn’t always work, and when it doesn’t, you’ll need to take more drastic steps like removing your SIM or resetting network settings.
Before you proceed, however, here are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to use your phone once again.
Some steps that boost up your signal in phones:-
Putting the phone in Airplane mode
Android: You can swipe down from the top of your screen to see the Quick Settings panel. Tap on the airplane icon then waits for your phone to be completely disconnected from its Wi-Fi and cellular connections. This does not happen immediately, so give it 30 seconds before tapping on the Airplane Mode icon again.
iPhone: Open Control Center – iPhone X-Series users can swipe down from the top-right corner, older iPhone models swipe up from the bottom of the screen – and tap the Airplane Mode icon. It will turn orange when enabled. Again, wait a minute before turning it off.
Restarting your phone
Android: Press and hold the power button until the onscreen menu appears and then select Restart. If your phone does not offer an option to restart, press and hold the power button until the screen turns black and then turns back on.
Our phones are miniature computers, and like computers, sometimes you can fix problems by restarting them.
iPhone: If your iPhone has a Home button, you can hold the Sleep / Wake button until the power slider is displayed. Drag the slider to the right. Once the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep / Wake button until you see the Apple logo.
iPhone X-series users have to press and hold the side button along with the volume up or down buttons at the same time. Eventually, the same power slider will appear; Slide it to the right to turn off your phone. After the phone is powered up, hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
Removing your SIM
It takes only a few seconds to remove and insert your SIM card into your phone.
Another troubleshooting step to try is, and then put your SIM card back in your phone by turning that phone on. You will need a SIM card tool – usually to get a SIM tray from your phone’s box – or included in your phone’s box.
Android/Phones: Remove the SIM card, check to see if it is damaged and the SIM tray is correctly, then put it back on your phone.
eSIM: For iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, Pixel 3, Pixel 4, or any other users who are using eSIM – is an electronic sim embedded in your phone – nothing is here for you to remove. The other thing you can do with a non-removable sim phone is that you can do is have restart your phone.

Apple’s support page for troubleshooting signal issues has some of the tips mentioned above, but it tries to highlight two things that are iPhone specific.
Check carrier settings
Check the carrier settings on your iPhone to check for updates.
If you’ve used an iPhone for some time, you’ve probably seen a warning, even if only for a short time, that your carrier settings are up to date. Those updates help the iPhone optimize connectivity.
To force your iPhone to check for carrier settings updates, open Settings> General> On your phone. If there is an upgrade, you’ll be asked to install it.
Reset network settings
Resetting network settings on the iPhone should be one of the last troubleshooting steps you can perform.
Sometimes you need a clean slate to fix an annoying problem. Refreshing your phone’s network settings is another tip that Apple tries.
But be warned that, resetting your network settings will reset any saved Wi-Fi passwords, VPN connections, and any custom APN settings for those that require additional setup.
If you’re good with this, go to Settings> General> Reset> Network Settings. Confirm your selection and your phone will restart.

Sometimes your carrier signal is the only way to solve problems.
Sometimes unexpected signal issues can be detected with problems with your wireless carrier. A cell tower may be down, or the fiber optic cable of the tower may be cut off, causing an outage.
For frequent problems and living on a cellular or data network, it is possible that your carrier’s coverage may not extend well to your neighborhood. Some carriers will offer a network extender, a device that acts as a small wireless tower that relies on your Internet connection, such as AT & T’s Microcell or T-Mobile’s personal cell spot.
Other times, a newfound signal problem may go bad with your phone or a damaged SIM card. After trying these improvements started contacting their carrier.
